Why did they start minecraft with such a primitive version on xbox. Also why dont they skip forward and just update to 1.2.5 on xbox instead of making us wait. To be honest im only saying this because i just want creative mode. So please 4J just skip a few updates for your pals on the xbox shooting themselves waiting to build awesome ****. Thanks.
There's a very simple answer to your question. Had you asked it in your other thread, I would have answered it gladly. Since you decide to clog the forums up with crybaby ********, I'm not going to answer your question.
Stop crying, we'll get creative when we get it.
Some of us still manage to build big without it. It's called the duplication glitch....
You want creative mode? Go on PC for now with all your buddies, it's not hard to get a free version of minecraft on the internet (I'm not condoning this though). Quit whining lmfao.
By the way, they're updating to 1.8.2 next then jumping to 1.2.5.

wait what about all the other updates in between? will we get them?

Yes. 4J will be combining updates from several versions into one. For example: this version has the lighting update that wasn't released until 1.8 in the PC world.
They started re-coding Minecraft for the xbox when it was in beta 1.6. If they had been coding each update since then before releasing it, it still would not be out given how frequent the PC updates were and the conversion rate. They had to draw the line somewhere in order to get the game out. Updating the xbox version from the launch state to the current PC state would take quite a long time. They chose to implement incremental updates, but more importantly bug fixes. The xbox version will always be a few versions behind the PC version, that's the nature of it. It will always be playing catch-up. They could implement features of latter updates with sooner ones (like they just did with the 1.8 lighting system in 1.7) but with 1.8 being the next update for the xbox, adding in Creative Mode as a stand-alone update would be pointless.
i'm wondering the same question. i'm pretty disappointed at this point. i was excited for the update that was released today but you can't even use the shears to get a "new" block (leaf blocks) i would love to put scrubs and plants around and in my house but i can't because theres a ****ing bug... AGAIN. i've never seen a game with so many bugs.
How bout this? **** you and the horse you rode in on. Maybe if you have more than 19 ****ing posts you'd understand that this topic has been gone over numerous times. This guy has posted more than one thread crying about creative, while if he would have researched the topic for 30 seconds he'd have all his answers.
Also, if you'd been around longer, you would realize that my response to the OP was actually pretty tame compared to responses I've given other people. If you want kindness and compassion, get off the internet, you wont find it here.
How about this? You're reported for breaking rules, swearing and being rude to other forum members without any reason whatsoever.
Yes, some of us can actually help and be polite at the same time. Believe it or not.

Cigarettes are like squirrels. They're perfectly harmless until you put one in your mouth and light it on fire.

It's ok, you have to wait another couple of months for that bug fix!!!!!!!!!!!! ****...

Don't forget that 1.6.6 was only a little over a year ago. 4J needed time to work on this project. 1.6.6 is pretty simple compared to 1.8+, so I would also assume it was probably the best starting point at the time.
I thought you played Skyrim? Really, anything by Bethesda and you have a chance of the game locking up constantly, dying while you walk or quests breaking mid-script for no reason. Oh, and it's worth mentioning the funniest Bethesda bug: NPCs that walked on catwalks in the starting city of Fallout 3 would just fall to their deaths clipping through the catwalks. You started the game to "people rain" that included NPCs you needed for later quests. Now that's buggy....
Anyway, Minecraft in general is terribly buggy. It's actually really impressive that the majority of bugs.... are issues with Minecraft and not new problems 4J has introduced.

Because that's what Mojang wanted, there is a search bar at the top of the screen, you will find plenty of posts explaining this 4J also released an update list going from 1.6.6 --> 1.7.3 --> 1.8.2 --> 1.2.5 Sorry but that's the way it will be. Right now we are on 1.7.3, next update has creative so you will be happy.

i never had any problems out of skyrim or oblivion besides it being somewhat laggy.
as far as the actual game though, i loved it. this game, however, annoys me. there's too many bugs interfering with gameplay.

Wow, you're lucky. I've probably died a thousand times just walking down the stairs of Dragonsreach. Not falling - just walking. Once, I died using the leather crafting thingie..... and then there was that time I tried to jump up a hill that couldn't have been more than 2 meters tall..... Fallout 3 had some weird 50/50 chance the whole game would explode if you used the rail spike gun, which was my favorite thing ever.

Ya, seriously - it doesn't get better. I'm not trying to be dismissive or salty against Minecraft, but it has serious problems in every version ever made..... From dupe glitches, 4 sided pistons, BUDS, sand clocks, Ghast fireballs that lag all the things, Mineshafts that cut through End Portals and stop you from ending the game, poltergeist mobs that collide and stop you from moving forward - and it turns out they're 6 blocks to the left of you......

Since you like rules so much maybe you should read them? Post Redundant Threads - Be aware of other threads in the forum, and don't duplicate (see "Use Search" above). That is under the don't section. This was a redundant thread, as the OP made more than 1 thread just like this. He broke the rules. I wasn't a snitch about it, like you. The guy that came in and prompted me to make the comment I made, swore at me, he broke the rules. I didn't snitch on him either, like you did.
You reported me, did you report them?

yeah, i never had any of those problems. i played skyrim a few days ago and noticed it's extra laggy though. i don't know if it could be because of the dlc or.
i don't remember having any trouble with fallout either.
and that is reassuring. :')

Oh I will. I just made a P.S.A thread about it. Violators will be dealt with!
