Alright, so I just went on my Minecraft world to check on my fail slime farm and sure enough, no slimes but just skeletons, zombies, and creepers. I didn't care at this point and I just looked at them from an elevated distance. But a skeleton shot me, the arrow bounced off me, hit a creeper, and as soon as it was ready to blow up, and the game crashed. I don't know any known bug that may have caused this so has anyone else had this?
No clue about the bug (someone will probably blame duping), but if you have skeletons and creepers in your slime farm that may be why there are no slimes. If there are other mobs spawning down there, it takes away a chance for a smile to spawn. Not positive that's your problem, but it may be something you want to check into.

Well, I'm not worried about the slime farm(gonna turn that into a storage area) I just wondered what the bug was. Pretty sure nobody was duping in my world.

It's all good. Yeah, I wasn't saying that you were duping, or the problem had anything to do with duping. I was just saying, that's what someone else will probably blame it on because everyone love to blame duping for everything.
About the bug. I've had similar problems happen when I explode some TNT. Only happened once or twice, and I wasn't using a large amount of TNT. It happened just as the TNT exploded. So it must have something to do with the explosion happening at just the wrong time, causing the game to crash.
I know that gives you no real info on what happened, but just know you're not alone.
