Should I upload a picture or is this common? I have never seen a thread about this before. I did not make this, I was just walking around looking for a good cave to mine and I saw it far away, and figured it was a chunk error but I'm on top now,
Pics and seed, mate, if youu don't have the seed, tell us in a few days when they give us the ability to check our seed in te 1.7.3 update.
If you mean an actual skyblock style floating chunk, that's awesome. Little floating bits are fairly common though.

And like I said, when the next update comes out within a few days, we'll be able to see the world seed in the menu
I'm dying for a good skyblock map and I've seen a few skyblocks but like ChikkaBowWow said they the few block chunks that are up in the air. Fairly common. The Skyblock I'm looking for is the whole maps is little islands up in the air. Those vids on Youtube are amazing showing the true Skyblock maps but unfortunately their only on PC

Speaking of deadmau5... Every time one of my friends see the hint that's says "Deadmau5 likes minecraft!" they are all, "Who the heck is deadmau5?" I swear, it's like all they play is video games... HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW WHO DEADMAU5 IS? That's like.... Not knowing what skrillex or dubstep is....

He's the original Skrillex LOL! And I think Deadmau5 was an influence on Skrillex(saw an interview few months back where he talked about deadmau5)
I first heard of him when I played thug2. Saw all the "mice" in the club in Berlin and thought wtf is that I just have to know. Since then I've listened to dub but seriously because skrillex I stopped. He just sounds terrible and is WAY too mainstream. I remember when dub was that filthy underground music you'd only hear in a night-club or online which that's what made it so good. The djs had some nasty **** back then it sounded great but now we have skrillex some little emo girl who crawled out of a computer spreading it's virus to the world.
To the topic now. I've seen a legit skyblock before on xbox. I was playing split screen with my daughter and she somehow ended up putting in a string of random variables in the seed box (she's only 2 and I'm still uncertain how she did this) while I was up so instead of caring to delete (or take note of) what's there I just started it. When we finished she hit the power before I could save and this was pre-patch so I'm SOL.

Glad to see other people want it too. I can only imagine the awesome pictures people would post of their adventures on Skyblock maps for MC Xbox
Actually that's kind of what I'm doing now on the Dead Mau5 seed. It's obviously not like a real skyblock map but it still makes it fun.
