They spawn on same difficulty "regular" mob spawn.
That area would be amazing. Dig all that out, make it 4 tiered at 2 high a piece. Wow. I have two chunks pretty close and have close to 5k kills on hard just from slimes. That area would/could get insane if the game overspawns them, which is no fun.
im gonna go check it out
what layers do you suggest?Came across this nice find whilst zooiming out
so the chunks on the corners of the 5 grouped together are marked as 208,128 to 224,144 and 240,144 to 256,160 do i dig this entire area out? and then make 5 rooms 3 high stacked up? time is obviously nt an issue
You would dig out the chunks where it says the coords, example there is that chunk 208,128 - 224, 144.
(This is just the top left most chunk, still have the other 5 to dig out)Everything within those coords its best to dig out. You have found like a goldmine of slime chunks its really rare to have even just 4 next to each other.
So the whole top row of your area dug out should be from 208 to 240 ( X )

And the Y is like 128 to 176 i think if i include the other 2 whoch i did
I used the site on the thread below, and put in my seed and im in one of the chunks tht was closest to my dwelling, went down on peaceful to light everything up, went back in on normal and stood a little bit away and nothing spawned?
Monsters don't spawn unless you are at least 25 meters away. Go do something else and then come back.
How come people have such a hard time reading the first paragraph of the slime page on mine craft wiki? Every single thread I have seen on slimes in these forums is not needed. Seriously, read it. Your answer is there. Slimes are so easy, how do people spend so long trying to figure it out?
Step 1: look down
Step 2: dig until you hit bedrock
Step 3 : spend a whole 5 minutes clearing the area with TNT (I know, I know, 5 minutes is forever but deal with it.)
Step 4 : sit back and marvel at how much time you didn't waste posting the same garbage on these forums as every other fool that needs their info spoon fed to them.
they get confused on the slime finder because the coordinates are hard for them to understand. Then they end up digging the wrong chunk and waste all that time and effort

Some of these rooms will not spawn slimes as they will be too high. You haven't allowed for a floor or the fact that bedrock is layer 5(this may not be important, I don't know if it is 16 layers above bedrock they stop or layer 16) If it is layer 16 and under the best you can do is 3 rooms 3 blocks high. If it is 16 blocks above bedrock that they stop on then it is 4 rooms 3 blocks high.

Not to mention the hours you spend gathering gunpowder to make TNT, right?
