I used the site on the thread below, and put in my seed and im in one of the chunks tht was closest to my dwelling, went down on peaceful to light everything up, went back in on normal and stood a little bit away and nothing spawned?

You have to give them time to spawn. Since you were on Peaceful, it threw off their spawn flow.

you need to go more than 24 blocks away from the nearest edge of the room and WAIT. It takes time for them to spawn. I had to wait a half hour on my map, but on my friends map they were there in 5 mins.

Don't go more than 128 blocks away. Dig a horizontal tunnel out of the slime spawn area and wait there in the dead end. It works, trust me, as long as you identified and dug out the correct chunk for your slime spawn.

If i give you the seed and where i marked it out can u tell me if i am in the roght spot?


I havent dug a room yet, i wasnt going to bother if there was no slimes

there is a huge cave that is bigger than the chunk. they should be spawning

Is it an actual slime chunk or is it a random cave you found?

And i put in my seed, and went to one of the green squares near my house.

can someone tell me if i got this right, i used the seed (sorry for this but it looked cool on Youtube): Suck My **** 99911

and i settled on using 128.80 to 144.96 which i just noticed has a second chunk next to it. this was close to my huse so i figured itd be the best option for me. I lit up everycave i could find around the location, now i mighyt end up looking stupid if i dont have the right spot lol

but on my map, the coords are: X:140, y: 15, z:90

this is a massive opening which covers alot of space so if this is the right location which i hope it is, then hey should spawnn


am i even at the right spot?

I checked everything and typed your fancy seed in the slime app. And the coordinates you said has no chunks on it.

i apologise about the seed lol. i saw a youtube video and it has some beautiful overhangs, gorgeous map if im honest. and where i am does have a slime chunk... ill post a screen shot

Same. Also make sure you put the seed in exactly (capitals and all) to ensure it is correct.

As I said before, remember those co's are not the center but the edge. I highly recommend digging where those four slime chunks converge. That spot off the right looks amazing. Nice seed... don't care for the name but wow, haven't ever seen so many chunks that close together.

Does Slimes just spawn on Normal and Hard? Sorry, i'm a noob.

spent hours lighting up caves but i didnt see that big group earlier i might move.

They spawn on same difficulty "regular" mob spawn.

That area would be amazing. Dig all that out, make it 4 tiered at 2 high a piece. Wow. I have two chunks pretty close and have close to 5k kills on hard just from slimes. That area would/could get insane if the game overspawns them, which is no fun.
