i am currently having trouble connection to the servers of minecraft i have recently contacted xbox live customer help and they say that the trouble is with the mojang servers they will not let me login to the servers to play the game,
everytime i play minecraft i cannot play with friends or family i keep getting a message saying
( connection lost to servers, re-entering main menu )
when i spoke to xbox live help they ran me though all the xbox tests i have even tried logging into another xbox to see if it would work and the same message appears
could i please get help in resolving this issue so i can finally play minecraft
Try this, it worked for me as well as a few friends...
Open your world and make sure to uncheck Online (play offline), walk around a bit and save and exit.
Then open your world up again, but this time play online (do not check invite only), walk a bit, save and exit.
Now you should be good to play online invite only, or online open.
does this mean like i try it on my xbox and do what you say but would it work even if my brother wont do it? like its only joining his world i cant enter and like i wanna get into his world he has it really done well...
My bad, I read the O/P wrong, I thought you were having problems entering your world and not his. I would still try my suggestion (it can't hurt anything), and maybe have your brother try it as well. If you have gone through and opened all the recommended ports on the router and rebooted the router, it may be the issue of too much in the house using up bandwidth. If you are in the same household, try using split-screen with him using your profile on his xbox and see if it lets you in that way. It should but I'm one of those people who will do every dumb thing possible to trouble shoot
it happened to me too help me i dont know what to do i tried everything u guys saidcan you guys help me i don't know what to do i wanted to play with my friend but it won't work it said connection lost connecting restedi mean not connection rested connection reset what does that mean?? and please help mehey bigpaparazor i need ur help i did what u said but it won't work and i tried already 2 time i need help

It's pretty funny trying to figure out how I can lose connection to MY OWN SERVER tho.
It's happened infrequently since I bought the game... and it's never permanent, just a temporary glitch.
I've also been told the game contacts external servers upon startup (no idea why tho), and these are the servers that the message is referring to.
On the third try last night, my game loaded just fine.
