Hey 4J, Chikka Bow Wow here humbly requesting that you consider adding at least some of the following building blocks to the game, either as an xbox-exclusive part of a title update or as a Block-pack DLC, I'd happily spend my MS points on the following:
Slabs and Stairs: Smooth Stone (stairs), Mossy Cobble, Wood (raw wood, not planks), Lapis, Iron, Diamond, Gold, Obsidian, maybe glass.
Also please consider:
Mossy smooth stone. Stackable iron fenceposts [[I hear that's going to be in an update]] and chain link fencing.
Wooden yard fences, either of the solid wooden planks variety or a picket variety.
Blocks that can be infused with redstone and made to light up to various levels of brightness when touched or walked on (like redstone ore). Slabs that can be built onto the underside of blocks. [[also oming in an update]] Stained (colored) glass. <- this is a popular one.
As well as a few utility items:
Lanterns that cast light while held in your hand (and need to be refueled to stay lit)
Small oxygen tanks that triple the amount o time you can spend underwater before suffocation damage kicks in.
And here are some popular suggestions from the community:
Different colored bedds from different color wool.
Hope someone from 4J reads and considers these. I think they'd be great as DLC, if anything.

some of those ideas are pretty neat others are just eh.
I have that in the list, but listed as stained glass. o: your sig is actually what made me think of it, I'd love some light blue tinted windows on my houses.

You DO realize that 4J can't just add things to the game because you ask. It HAS to have been already added to Minecraft for PC, and last i checked most of these requests can only be done with a Mod. Until MOJANG ...you know the actual Owners of Minecraft add these things they wont ever be in the Xbox version. So I'd advise you to ask for these in the PC section if you want Jeb or Someone to actualy take notice. Or send Jeb a DM on Twitter with the suggestions.

That's not true at all. This isn't PC minecraft for Xbox, this is The Xbox Edition of Minecraft. We're getting the PC equivalent 1.2.3 at the least, but Xbox exclusives and ports of popular PC custom maps arealready in consideration by 4J as future DLC.

Actually some of those things like the different slabs, stairs, iron stack-able fences, are on they're way I believe with upcoming yet far away updates.
Yeah stained or tinted glass would be excellent. Just cann't bring myself to carry that bright animated sig.
It's funny, I always had assume there was some sorta scuba gear. One of those pics(themes?) have what looks like a creeper underwater with a tank, or scuba gear.

You do realize that XBOX already has something CPU doesnt.....An easier crafting system. Game is not alike and 4J has done said they will add XBOX exclusive items at a later date.
Sorry, but never gonna happen on the Xbox, unless the PC version gets it.
We've already covered this, my friend. The Xbox version will get its own unique content over time in addition to all the PC features, 4J isn't going to wait for Mojang to innovate if they get good ideas themselves.
I endorse all previous suggestions. Making steps/slabs/doors/etc from all available resource blocks seems like a no-brainer.

i want different colored beds made form the wool colors. Maybe I prefer a color other than red ._.
Amen to that! I can't stand only having one colored bed.
I enjoy the fact that you can make one bed from all different colored wool, but if you use just one color wool I think you should get different colored beds.
