Excuse me if this has already been posted, but I was just wondering if 4J was looking into a way of sharing maps, like on pc, how they have adventure maps, parkour maps, puzzle maps, and whatnot. People have been saying that it isn't going to be possible because you would have to mod the gamesave for your own console ID's, which Microsoft frowns upon. How do other games such as Trials Evolution get away with map sharing?

That's a whole different thing. If you want to share maps now, you have to do the naughty things to resign the save containers. That's against the rules.
If 4J implemented a method that allowed you to share the maps over Xbox Live (like other games) then that's a totally different thing. You're technically already "sharing your save" when you play multiplayer. It has nothing to do with the save modification thing.
Not that I know of. I think there was some mention of them adding some Host controls so that you can "safely" share your maps publicly, but that's all I've heard.
If it's something you're interested in, have you heard about the Adventure Mode update on the PC version? It's specifically designed to allow people to share adventure maps. Not exactly on topic, but it might be something you enjoy.
I've followed Minecraft from YT videos, before they had a console edition, since my computer really can't handle it which is rather sad. Is there any rough estimation on when they want to get the Adventure Mode update on the Xbox version? Also thank you for the quick responses and help.
Adventure Mode is supposed to be a new edition in release version 1.8 on the PC. That update is supposed to be released this August.
There's no telling when (if?) the Xbox version will ever reach release version 1.8. It's on Beta 1.6.6 now, with beta 1.7.3 coming soon and beta 1.8 being planned for the end of the year (I think). 4J has stated the Xbox version should reach current PC version "and beyond" and that they might add features earlier in the release cycle.
Hm, alright. Thank you for the loads of information and help! Nice getting to talk to some calm people on the forums who actually help instead of screaming/throwing insults around.

So the short version is.... no clue.
