Well? All i can say is i hate how glass has the white lines through them! Will they ever make it 100% see through?
Or... will that require a texture pack? (I hope not.)

Glass panes are part of the PC upgrade path so we should get em too. It's just what it says - a thin piece of glass instead of a large (almost) transparent block. Make for much better looking windows in the videos I've seen of em since it gives a slightly recessed look to house windows. No idea if it will still have the white dots on it or not, though.

I'm sure you'll still be able to see a speck of light; otherwise, you'd be trying to place hundreds of window panes because you couldn't see the first one...or better yet, think you're punching air and hear the sound of glass breaking.
yeah some texture packs have absolutely clear glass panes with a nice black border in videos I've seen. They look REALLY good for continuous glass strutures like skyscrapers.
