You guys notice that i posted last night about my world getting corrupted? 2 more were up today. 1 was for modding, so its not the same as the other 1 and mine. but do you think there is something wrong with the game?
Either the players have been getting more stupid by the day, or it's just Minecraft.
And I'm putting my money on the second one and a penny on the other.
The game has various bugs and glitches as it is, and not the pretty kind. If you know about the treacherous spawning glitch - where players would suddenly return back to spawn w/ an empty inventory as if they were a new player - alongside severe lag on some players with the whole "missing chunks", then you know something is very wrong here. I feel that with the update, however, some of those bugs might be patched up.

Never had a problem, across 8 maps with multiple players.
But then, no one has EVER tried to exploit a glitch on any of them. (If anyone does, I'll kill 'im).
Same. They all still load and play just fine.
I do have a buddy that has duplicated everything in every map because he's one of those people whining about Creative..... he has never, ever had an issue. I don't actually believe the dupe glitch causes corruption - probably doesn't help, but I don't believe it causes corruption. Who knows, though.

idk but my friends have duped and modded in their worlds before and they havent had problems and ive duped and havent had problems

alright. this is annoying. i dont want to start another glitch vs survival argument, but please. if you have nothing usefull to say dont say it. You are probly just one of those people who has a fraction of the creativity of anyone else, so you bash on duping/modding because its no use to you. You have nothing to build. so you make a house, a mod grinder and your done. Game over. without duping everything would be the same.
City, everything even statues have interiors... and not just a bed and a furnace

If I wanted to just lay down blocks, I'd play a different game. You inject stuff into your inventory or dupe, bad things are bound to happen... The game is the game. Don't like it, play another game or just except that this could happen again.
I don't care if you dupe. Dupe away. Just don't question the stability of the game if you do it.
Duping has nothing to do with creativity. Just the time.
