"One of the extras confirmed by the official Twitter of Minecraft to MyGames, was the existence of cross-platform functionality between PC and Xbox 360, which means that we can play with other friends who are playing on the PC." - MyGames(Minecraft, PC, Xbox 360)
Do you guys ever think it will happen?
Do you guys care if it does?
It most likely won't happen. And if I remember correctly, the quote stopped at cross-functionality, it didn't say playing with friends who are on PC. Can mean something completely different. I could be wrong though.

The original announcement said cross-functionality between 360 and PC - it doesn't say cross-platform play, mind you, but we're still missing a feature that was announced at E3 with no mention of it since.
I always assumed you would be able to get your skin from minecraft.net, but that seems very unlikely....
Why would PC players want to limit themselves to an area the size of a Lego block, in comparison to the size of a PC world?
But I highly doubt the "cross-platform functionality between PC and Xbox 360" will have anything to do with the seperate platforms being able to game together.

I forgot about kinect. That sounds like a lot of work.
Speaking of a lot of work, don't you have tests to run supra!!! ;-)
I think the problem there was copyright issues. Like if you wear a link skin, and it's an xbox game. I might be wrong, though.
