So I was looking through the forums and one problem everyone has is the map size. So then I began to think of ideas to fix this problem and finally came up with one. Are you ready for this? What if you could make a portal to link maps together? Good idea right? Well that just my thought so if you have any other ideas or you would like to build on this idea, post below.
Still don't see how I'm gonna transfer my house from one world to the next. I'm not gonna disassemble & then reassemble it. There is many flaws in this idea.
Since 4JStudios are looking in to world sizes being increased, the best thing to do IMO, if they will be increased, is to enlarge them when terrain updates (1.8.2, 1.2.3) come along. That way we'll be able to explore the updated terrain in new, undiscovered land (hence not starting a new world).
That's already been said. I wouldn't like that anyway. It would be practically the same as starting new maps with your existing items. Too cheap.
Sometimes I love this forum lol
This idea has been suggested dozens upon dozens of times.
Once they get the game update and can concentrate more on optimizing it to run on the Xbox 360, they may be able to squeeze a bit more size out of the maps.
