That is a third party program for the PC that allows you to map any console controller's layout to keys on the computer. If I wanted to play MC with an xbox controller, all I'd have to do is plug in a wired xbox controller and config it for myself. Bam.
2. Every PC game ported to the console is forced into an optimization so the xbox can run it at a decent FPS. Aka meaning they had to downgrade it's looks to even work on xbox. I mean, people here are running on fancy and infinite worlds without issue, while you silly fillies on xbox are playing with a world roughly around 1000x1000 blocks (enough to fit 1 regular map), and that textures get 'blended' the farther you get away from an area to lessen the load on rendering.
3. Decent online service? You do realize PC users only have to pay for internet connection, and thats it. If your going xbox, you have to both pay internet and a monthly fee for membership.
4. I'd like to see your xbox get custom DLC for free, by the community (and even sometimes) the developers. Almost every DLC that adds actual content to a game on consoles require cash, even if the release on PC was free. I mean, for one, PC users can customize their own skin for FREEEEEE, while your stuck buying skin packs that people complained about sucking,
I own both versions, and I know for a fact that:
So, bums.
Even though I'm a console gamer... I gotta say I love the Zero Punctuation reference...
ok to start off I have never had the privlidge of playing mine caft on the pc because i can not afford a couple thousand dollars to buy a good pc. But having said that i have looked on youtube and having seen the potentials of the game I am looking forwad to playing it as the months go by. I think that what the xbox lacks in complexity it will make up for in avaliability just saying. Its al to easier for someone to pay 25$ for the xbox version tn to buy upgrades for a computer to play the pc version.

Who the hell told you a decent Computer costs a couple thousand dollars?
If its a desktop it would cost somewhere around $550.
If its a laptop... No. Just no.
OnTopic: My thoughts have be covered multiple times.
Yes, my thoughts are no.
Given the fact that the only DLC we have right now will be skins, and anything we get can easily be modded for the PC(assuming they add stuff that isn't already a mod for the PC) I doubt it will be more epic.
Damien is on to something. I really don't think they will add much content, and the game will eventually die. I have a lot of XBL Arcade games, and they usually have 1,or rarely 2, updates, and then they either disappear or a sequel comes out.
I think Minecraft will stall on the Xbox sadly. (and I don't have the PC version!)
the xbox doesnt even compare to the pc version, its more like mc lite. first off, they charge you for skins you get for free on pc. if they drop texture paks, i'll bet you'll have to pay for those too. then you are stuck in one small map on xbox, pc area is huge by comparison. the pc also has tons of gameplay elements that are not(will not?) exist in xbox, farming animals and breedeng dogs, enchanting, and then the mods and adventure mode maps..... the only thing the xbox has is easier, but less player-number multiplayer...dont get me wrong, i got both versions, and played a bunch of both, xbox is mc lite, with some more money transactions, i want to see what they bring in the next update 1.8? slated after this bug fix comin soon... enderman and creator mode...
i love the PC version and have played it nrearly two years, but when i learned i could play split-screen with my wife and friends, i switched and havnt played the PC version since (2 weeks now)
psst, btw
your console games are created on pc

I LOL'ed.
I wuz a PC elitest who coverted to the lure of gaming on the big screen HDTV.
I'm ready to go back. Xbox is just missing something - processing power or whatever it is...
sigh

You do realize most Tv's that use HDMI coords, you can easily buy cables that allow you to plug it into a computer.
I would know, my father used a flatscreen for a few months as his monitor.
