Given the fact that the only DLC we have right now will be skins, and anything we get can easily be modded for the PC(assuming they add stuff that isn't already a mod for the PC) I doubt it will be more epic.
let me start by saying the xbox version will update along up to the same point as the pc version. with that said I agree because if some of the modders agree to terms with 4j everyone could have a change to play these mods like tekkit pack and mo creeps and all the popular ones. so I agree that It is going to be preaty cool.
I don't agree, I own it for both systems, well PC isn't a system really, but PC has more content not to mention new content is updated every single day by forum users, and the XBLA release wont be updated as fast and will most likely be behind because PC updates are easier to push through to users. Then there is the reason of mod developers, not many mod developers will be hired as is needed to make DLC, so overall custom and non-basic game content will be less. Don't get me wrong though, they are both incredibly fun to play with friends, and seeing as MCX360 is written in C++ coding so multiplayer is MUCH smoother and less likely to have those awful server lag spikes. That's my thoughts.
The only thing Xbox has over PC right now is ease of multiplayer. Granted, that's a very big thing! (Which is nice, because the worlds are definitely NOT a very big thing).
The thing is, a lot of people won't say XBox version is better (Only reason I do is because it is the perfect couch game for me). Because they don't have a PC, also like me.
I only think the XBLA version will be better because, like the others said, multiplayer will keep us at ease. I own both minecraft on xbox and on desktop.
I think the Xbox version is going to be getting either three or four skin packs. PC version can make their own skins. Mod support on PC. Mods on Xbox i am 84% sure we wont have any cause 4j studios signed a contract with microsoft studios. Soon to be 1.3 in PC. Just got 1.7.3 and will hopefully soon get 1.8.2 and then skip all the way to 1.2.3. Im not sure whether or not they will be skipping over 1.9, 1.0, 1.1, or just doing them all at once. The only real differences are that Xbox Edition has 4 player splitscreen (on HD TVs), a tutorial world, new crafting interface, camera mode, and all the features that include auto saving, gamma settings, etc.
i dont see your, or our i guess i should say, "tons and tons of content" anywhere. we have a skin pack. woo. i have minecraft on xbox and PC, and i have my reasons for liking both of them, but if you're only looking at what the game itself has to offer, the xbox doesn't have **** on PC, especially if you've got a PC good enough to keep a decent frame rate (which isn't hard to do) and if it ever does have something over PC content-wise chances are someone'll just make a mod to give the PC the exact same thing. ease of multiplayer and unnecessarily high frame rate is nice, but i'd take more complicated multiplayer and a bit of a lower frame rate for custom skins and a practically infinite map any day. This is all speaking as if we're up-to-date with the PC version as well, which we aren't even close to.
I don't agree. I don't enjoy the idea of extra content being made available through paying additional money(Such as the skins DLC). The PC version can be frustrating with lag spikes, but it has content that can be changed outside of the game, like texture packs, mods, and skins. In short, the xbox version is built for the player, but the PC version is built BY the player..
I really wish minecraft for the pc had support for the Xbox controller. If it did, I probably wouldn't touch the Xbox version at all. I dislike playing pc games with a mouse and keyboard.
That is a third party program for the PC that allows you to map any console controller's layout to keys on the computer. If I wanted to play MC with an xbox controller, all I'd have to do is plug in a wired xbox controller and config it for myself. Bam.
2. Every PC game ported to the console is forced into an optimization so the xbox can run it at a decent FPS. Aka meaning they had to downgrade it's looks to even work on xbox. I mean, people here are running on fancy and infinite worlds without issue, while you silly fillies on xbox are playing with a world roughly around 1000x1000 blocks (enough to fit 1 regular map), and that textures get 'blended' the farther you get away from an area to lessen the load on rendering.
3. Decent online service? You do realize PC users only have to pay for internet connection, and thats it. If your going xbox, you have to both pay internet and a monthly fee for membership.
4. I'd like to see your xbox get custom DLC for free, by the community (and even sometimes) the developers. Almost every DLC that adds actual content to a game on consoles require cash, even if the release on PC was free. I mean, for one, PC users can customize their own skin for FREEEEEE, while your stuck buying skin packs that people complained about sucking,
Tons and tons of new cool content, that will probably be better than most mods on PC.
Discuss if you agree or do not agree.

I own both versions, and I know for a fact that:
So, bums.
