Hi fellas. New to the forums but i just built ethos mob trap
and just found out that SIGNS do not hold water, nor ladders. so now i have this 30x30 room with pads and no way to get a water flow to the center and bring my mobs to the top. PLEASE help me out any info is much appreciated!!!
my channel is 2 blocks wide but i havnt added the water or the signs in the channels. i just tried to make the mobavator and place signs diagonal from each other so it would hold back the water, but it does not. everything is the right size my signs just wont work like they do in the videos for pc.
when i tried to make the mobavator i would place the sign above me then one on the opposite corner. then i would place water above the sign but it would just come down over me

When you're placing signs like you said diagonal from each other up one wall. Make sure the other two on the other side are not directly opposite the first two.
