While my and my friend were playing online in one of my worlds.
2 guys logged in into it, I don't even know them, niether did my friend.
I kicked them and they got back in, and I kicked them again.
How did they get into my world?
Are you able to go into random other players world?
I didn't know that!
People from your "Recently Played" list can join your world. Meaning if you played someone in another game online, they can find you on the recently played list and join your game. It's the same with every online game.
Always play on Invite Only if you don't want random people joining. That is why the option was added to the game.

People from your "Recently Played" list can join your world. Meaning if you played someone in another game online, they can find you on the recently played list and join your game. It's the same with every online game.

Yep. But the fact they were kicked and joined back in is sad. A banning option should have been implemented. I'm not saying ban the first stranger, but it is very short sighted game option wise.
4J should have at the least looked at the existing indie games, seen the hosting options they have. Pick and choose what works. For me the hosting options that either CM or FC provide are no brainers.
Having played those games, I knew what to expect. Many have or had no idea.

No one will join unless you invite them, thus invite only. Safest way to go.
I really agree. While I was crafting, his guy from my friend's friend list took my diamonds(I did NOT see the message displayed) and before I was able to kill him, he left and I had NO diamonds left.
I kicked him before for killing me and he came back and got revenge. Really mad that this happened.
You can also join through the leaderboards, run through some players, view gamer-card and if its joinable then you get in. Maybe it was someone by the same rank as him, or maybe a recent player as McA said.

Just turn autosave off (but don't forget to save manually at regular intervals) and reload your game if this happens. Or turn invite only on.
They were probably recent players with you and your friend. You can do that.

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... This happens alot when I have a ton of people in my world. My one friend has a griefer friend (Tried to get him to cut ties with the guy but thats another issue) and he joined my world. Lucky me, I kicked him before he could do any damage, but I'm very careful now. I ask any of my friends if they know the guy that joined and if hes trustworthy. If they don't answer within 10 seconds, or reply no, then its "Kick".
Dang. I did not know any of this... especially the "Recently Played List" and the "Leaderboards." Very good information... thanks.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. Yeah, well once we have pistons, my whole spawn area will be trapped up the wazoo. Ditto for any structures that look "interesting".
Since I generally don't get alot of those kinds of players I just built a simple vault for my valuables hidden in a remote part of my world. Two different hidden switches open the door and deactivate the dispener turret. Destroying the door and walking on top of it will set it off. Trying to remove the pressure plate will also set it off. It killed me with full Iron Armor in a few seconds, rofl.

I had no idea they could do that in MC. So basically if you play BF3 or MW3 online some of those people can find you and join your MC world? That's crazy. I thought only a friend of a friend could join your world. I'm definitely using the Invitation Only option now. That shouldn't be allowed

I would be interested in seeing how you wired these up. If you ever need a test dummy i would be okay with joining to see how you did it.
