Now im wondering how did that happen ._+?

Also Nobody has ever been on this world its always on invite Now If some1 can explain how that mob spawner is under Sand blocks ._. thank you!

World generated with sand above that dungeon, perhaps something caused it to fall - a mob or even you perhaps.
You dug and found.

its very rare that a mob spawner actually spawns above ground. btw is the seed 456? cause it looks just like the mob spawner thats in my world.

Yea this happened to me before. So far i have found 5 dungeaons since the game released. 2 of them were like this.

i knwo whats a dungeon im just wondering how its under the sand blocks btw i did not go near that part of the map till i got done building my city i decided that i should check around i mean theres tons of island in that world and ive never been on any of em other than the one i flattend,


Also I found it like that first so i got curious while i was digging i found the moss stone so i was like theres goto be a mob spawner i found it and its under the sand thats why im asking how its under the sand ._.Oh i forgot this world is not 456 idk whats the seed for this cus i just clicked new game and i did not put a seed

I found a similarly placed mob spawner in the seed URL54MVP. It was partially exposed in pit of sand.

many seeds have above ground dungeons thats why they became popular but on random map seeds its harder to find above ground dungeons

Not really that rare or odd.

The seed Quesadila gives two surface dungeons that are less than 20 blocks from spawn.

worstseedever or Skyrim has this.

He's talking about the sand blocks being on top of the chest. Read the thread, don't just post like, "OMG! OMG! I WANNA TALK!"

I've found a zombie spawner before in a dungeon that had dirt covering the top of the chest. Dunno why it was like that. I'm pretty sure it had two chests as well.

Put good use to it I say, I found one underground a while back and BAM - now I got lots of bones and arrows.

Same thing happened to me. I found one above ground just like it. right there out in the open as soon as I spawned into the map it was 30 blocks away. There was a chest and a pig spawner but no mobs. I didn't destroy the spawner to see if something would spawn at night but nothing ever did but pigs It was weird to me as well i should've taken pics of it as well. i can go on tomorrow and do it

ive found a dungeon like that as well

Is this worstseedever? Also it's a dungeon, they are considered naturally occuring structures.

i found the same thang in ;seed worstseedever

yep, in worstseedever it's the first thing you look at when you load the game. (there is also a second monster spawner under the cobblestone near the ocean.
