When I plant my wheat on a 5wide 7long pad the same 3 other pads with water running over them (automatic harvesting) the wheat disapears as the water flows over them but how come the last 2pads at the end the wheat doesn't disapear? why's this? Ive heard that there's a bug Items which are detached by water (such as flowers, wheat, mushroos, torches, redstone torches, redstone dust, and rails) will disappear and not drop a resource if water flows onto them directly downward. Is there a way to fix it this problem in a way or something? My wheat farm is very big and took me a lot of time to finish and fixing this problem would really help. If u would like to join my world on minecraft Xbox... To help try solve this problem message me on here or send a message to my Xbox account Fikzz. Thanks.
I know the wheat right below the water when it falls a block will get destroyed. try making a 5 wide with a walkway in the middle and 6 long with the 6th block cobblestone
Not sure if this works but make a wheat farm in a underground room with space around it for redstone wired glowstone... turn the lights off and pick it up..... simple to make and easier to harvest. Also easy to expand
