Since 4J made/is making skins based off some properties, it would be neat if they made theme packs for texture packs. Like the swords could be energy swords from Halo. Just a thought, wasn't sure if anyone had the same idea.

I will accept a full Assassins Creed package, done in this way, as an apology for them refusing to add a hack/Mine mode to my game.
With your point about not buying a pre-made skin, I would buy a skin editor.
Since 'Balls' Is censored though I feel I am asking for too much, There will be hundrens of people who find it hilarious to make a giant cock as their skin.
Not like it matters, as only their friends can see...
You know, I had this exact same thought earlier. How neat it would be if a Master Chief skin could hold a diamond sword that was textured to look like an energy sword. Weird. Lol.
Just seeing that one preview shot of the Halo skins with the Halo Ring in the background makes me want to do a Halo-themed world though. Forerunner structures and all.
I see their argument on that point, but the problem is anyone could make a giant cock out of blocks (and some do) so it's not like disabling making skins looses the ability to make rude statues, or copies of intellectual property.
And like you say, only your friends can join, if they cause a problem, you can block them - solved. I also would pay for a texture maker, which would be damn easy for them to code (Unless 4J are only any good at porting existing code, rather than making their own from scratch - which I hope not).
That's exactly what I thought when I saw that screenshot, then thought about building a halo ring. Then gravity ruined my plans...
The difference between building obscene/copyright infringing statues in game and having a system that allows for obsene/infringing skin is that built structures are a user-made thing that 4J/Microsoft have no control over, whereas a skin editor would leave them liable if it was used to make skins that were obscene/infringing. If they make a custom editor, they simply also have to have a way to screen entries.
And I wish so badly that we could build on a ring-world. Like, if the map generated as a ring you could walk around the whole way, instead of a big cube. That'd be intense. You could build weird elevators from one side of the ring to the next.

This doesn't make sense to me. There's not much of a difference at all, the game is basically a world editor, in tself. How is that so different from a skin editor? They're both systems that could allow possible vulgar material. The skin and world, both, would be considered user-made.
