I saw a post asking about farming mushrooms so I figured I'd post mine. Sadly I don't have a capture card so its pictures, but here you go!
I found you can put a door on these type of farms and it will not effect the growth at all. Thought I would mention that, because for a long time, I used two blocks as a door that I would have to remove and put back each time. From information I'e read in the past, it would lead you to believe you had to seal the room up. Also, keep in mind, half slabs (if you don't mind floating mushrooms) keep mobs from spawning (if you want to forego torches, why you would, I don't know). I have so many mushrooms now, I think I may remove my farm!

Thanks! The biggest advantage to my farm is its completely dark so the mushrooms grow much faster, and its small enough to be a quick harvest but it still yields a whole stack of mushrooms. I only had maybe 10 of each mushroom when I started but now i have tons.
