Okay I'm making a auto farm. I'm setting it up and when pistons are released I'll pop them in. I need help on how to power 10 lines of 5 pistons that are all parallel to each other and have 1 space between each line. It's a little more complictated then what you think but if you can come to my world and help I would deeply appreciate it! Thanks!
I think you will need at least two blocks in between each row of pistons. One for the repeater and one for the redstone. That;s the only way I have seen a row of pistons activated.
bassically what will happen is the pistons will pull down the block the crop is on and harvest it and flow down water to pick up.
So we are talking wheat? It would probably be better to flood it. You won't have to hoe it again. Look at a couple of auto wheat farm videos and you see it is far less work.

Seatbelts are not as confining as Wheelchairs. Buckle up.
I'm ok with redstone, built my share of auto farms also, send me a friend request on Xbox and I can help you out. I have built auto wheat farms, sugar farms, catus farms, mob spawners, and various redstone contraptions.

This thread bores me.
IMO sugercane harvesters are a waste of resources. Look neat though.
