So I made a passive mob grinder and a whole bunch of sheep were caught in it behind the grass bridges I had put there to spread the grass to all four pads. Since I need red wool, I dyed them all red and removed the bridges to let them be pushed down the channel. I ran to the drop output area and nothing was there.... The sheep weren't even anywhere near it... I went up top and nothing was there either... Its not possible that all four of them made it to the bottom and hit the lava blade before I got down there, and even if they did, there should have been drops (It works as some pigs fell through earlier and I got some cooked porkchops). I didn't even hear any sheep dying either...
What on earth happened to them!?? By the way... No, it was not far enough for them to despawn.
Well if you get within 100 blocks from them they will despawn (I think its 100 at least.. Around there), but I was less then 20 blocks from those sheep.
i wasn't that far from my cows either. the field was part of my house because i saw five cows together and was "YES, PERFECT TIME TO BOX THEM IN" so i hurried and got them all together, but somehow a ****ing creeper spawned in there in the process and wiped out two. the rest disappeared shortly after. sadface.
my herd of cows disappeared after i worked SO HARD to get them boxed into my field. i went into my house to get something, came back outside, gone.
Happened to my chicken field... I work hard to get them... I herded 2 chickens... An egg appeared... (O_o) Next day, 6 chickens were in there... Next day... There all gone
