I built a dock in a cove area and then realized I wanted to add a small bridge so boats can go in and out since I originally blocked the cove with the dock.
When I went back to remove part of the dock it created some currents in my body of water under the bridge. I tried to fix it with buckets of water but I either made it worse or didn't make any change.
I saw a tutorial on here about how water rolls down hill but nothing about how water flows in a body of water. My OCD is making me go nuts because I want all the water around to be calm.
you can cover the block where the current is coming from with dirt then remove the dirt. should work.
this is the video i watched to learn how to make still bodies of water.

Thanks, that was interesting to see how to create a large still body of water but didn't answer the question of turning currents into a still body of water.
I did find this video though that was recommended near the video you posted. It basically shows what Damien4004 said.
