I have befriended 6 wolves, all sitting next to each other in my castle and I haven't earned the Leader of the Pack achievement. I didn't know if I did something wrong when I befriended the 5th one so I found one more but it didn't work. I'm assuming at this point it is just a glitch within the game. If anyone knows for sure if this is true or not, please let me know. Right now I'm a sad panda lol

I don't think you need to have all six wolves befriended at once but either case if the achievement isn't popping up just keep taming wolves and it's bound to unlock. I remember a couple of my friends having some problems with this achievement as well.

Are you using split screen? Sometimes the achievements glitch with multiple players. Just a guess..... I only have 2 dogs anyway. That and pigs fly is all I need.

Nope, I was playing Single Player the whole time. I actually got lucky because the last 3 just happened to wander into my castle as I was remodeling it lol. I went and grabbed some bones quick and got 'em. I guess I'll keep befriending more and see what happens. Thanks guys
