what i think the 360 edition should have specific mods and new ores to mine out . what im thinking is that the 360 version should have build and industrial craft so players can test their creativity. also notch should add a texture pack instead of default.also what about creative mod we should atleast have that in the 360 . my friends and i disscussed this because the pc version is way more cooler than the 360 because you can have mods and texture packs. also one thing watch the yogscast tekkit videos and see other videos about the industrial and build craft.
mods arent allowed on xbox for games. but they could add in a few extra things to minecraft probly. but nothing to spectacular like the mods we have on pc

What makes you say that? When they said you can't use mods in the 360 version, they meant you can't use player made content. For obvious reason. On the flip side of that is the fact that any player made content on the PC version is technically property of Mojang. For all intents and purposes, they could, at any time, decide to add any of that content to the game in whatever way they choose and not be obligated to pay anything to the players that made it. Furthermore, they wouldn't even have to discuss it with them.
What I'm trying to say is, they could add all of the content found inside of Buildcraft and Industrialcraft to the vanilla game tomorrow if they wanted and CALL it vanilla content. There is still plenty of hope that, between microsoft, 4J, and Mojang, they will decide to make some of this content available in an official, bug free, release as DLC to add to the game. They would have to be fools not to consider it, as its an extremely plausible way to continue drawing profit from this game.
This game IS a money farm, if they use their heads correctly.

well they wont add mods we are familiar with forsure. it will cause alot of people to complain and want other spacific mods.
My best guess is that they'll release something similar to mods and make them DLC. For example, they'll take the idea of DrZhark's mo' creatures and add a bunch of different creature and make them DLC.

I'm glad others can see what I see. I know what they meant when they said no mods. I also know what easy money looks like, and I know that we're gonna see that content for sale one way or the other. These people aren't idiots...they know how hungry this market is. They've had years now to watch us devour this game and see what we want. They know, and they know they can get fat paid for it. I'm not gonna believe for a second that any of these serious, for profit, businesses are gonna ignore that. I'll flat out call them liars first.

well on dlc, i wouldnt be surprised iff all we see is skin packs, maybe texture packs and a few small things, nothing to unique
You guys are looking at this mod thing all wrong.
We are getting xbox mods... for free.... very shortly.
Next week we're getting the pistons and shears mod! How cool is that!
Seriously, you guys know that there'll never be custom mods created by third parties like the PC ones. IF there's any "mods", 4J will have to code them and they'll sell them as DLC. They will not be like any PC mods (forget "Industrialcraft" or "mo creatures", etc.) but mods of their own creation, and they won't let you cheat in any way to keep things honest. (The instant some wag does try to program their own downloadable mod, if I was 4J I'd instantly add some code to the game to keep any outsider mod from working.)
As for "new ores", I wouldn't mind them, but unless you can make something new and unique with them, what's the point of just having more ores?
