How many Achievements have you guys gotten? I've only gotten 16 out of 20. Reason being: the last four are the hardest, in my opinion. I still have to get Leader of the Pack, When Pigs Fly, On a Rail, and A Lie. Which ones do you still have to get? Which ones are you having trouble with and why? And if you could add your own achievement for Minecraft, what would it be?
I got all of them. When pigs fly was definitely the hardest, because I had the bug where if you saved your game and exited, you would lose all your inventory and start back at spawn, So I couldn't just save before trying it, which meant if I failed I had to start a new world all over to try again.
I have them all, When Pigs Fly it's that difficult as long as you prepare lol. I learned my lesson on the PC with this one. Just build a fence around the porkington, build a water trap right at the end of the fence so it drops off a 6 high ledge at the end of the water, saddle up and break the fence going to the trap. The worse part is waiting for the darn pig to fall off the edge into the water lol.
I have all but the rail achievement i have a huge track but i cant get it can someone show me how?
Is it a straight track? it has to be 500m in one direction, each block is counted as a meter. So build a track 500 blocks long. What I did was put 1 powered raid every 31 blocks(sometimes would add more if theres a slope.) it's quite a bit of iron but the hardest part is finding a stretch of land long enough, I pretty much just dug a 3x1 tunnel almost all the way across the map.
Yeah, I have them all. About 5 friends of mine have the On A Rail achievement because we worked together. When Pigs Fly was sorta hard. I had the seed Skyrim and I found a dungeon beside a mountain and soon enough there was a pig up there. (yeah, i punched it down and quickly rode it)
I actually found them all to be pretty easy. Since my first world seemed to spawn wolves near me I got Leader of The Pack as my 2nd-3rd Achievement.
With the cake is a lie, I found two eggs laying around when I was finished building my house and since I had a wheat farm going, didn't have to wait long to get the wheat, all I needed was a sugar and a bucket of milk but that stuff wasn't hard to get.
With When Pigs Fly, I just used fences to trap a pig, instead of having to put down 2 blocks. From there I saved the game so that me and my brother could get the achievement once it popped and so we dug a pit under the pig and dropped him twice.
On the rail was probably the hardest seeing that I had to give up on a lot of my iron up for rails and gold for power rails.
The rail achievement can be gained by finding a friend with a long rail network. I'd help but Xbox Live is down for me (and many others) at the moment.
The wolf achievement you just need to wander around and wait long enough, they will show up eventually and/or you can find a pack. Look on the grassy areas where they spawn and hunt sheep. Look for blocks of wool on the ground, because that means they are near!
The cake achievement is just gathering stuff - iron ore for the milk buckets, sugar cane for the sugar (hope your world isn't one missing some items like sugar cane) and bust up the grass to get wheat seeds and then make a hoe and grow some wheat on some dirt. Eggs are hard to come by, best bet is find a group of chickens (hens I guess) and follow them around for ten minutes, eventually they'll all lay an egg if you wait long enough.
The pig achievement, hardest part is finding a saddle. You can do an internet search to find world seeds with a saddle in a chest near the spawn point. Then find a pig and fence it inside a small area. Dig down underneath the pig but leave one layer for it to walk on. Dig down about 5 blocks under the whole fenced area. Then go back up and put the saddle on the pig and ride it. Break a few blocks of the ground and the pig will finally fall thru and you'll get the achievement.

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
when pigs fly was super easy for me. my house is at the top of a mountain with a sheer drop on 2 sides. i hit the pig once to get him off the edge and then.... BLEEP BLOOP!!!
I've got all except the "On A Rail" achievement. I won't build it untill I have a destination and a reason to build it. Not to mention I need to hit up my mineshaft for some resources. I'll get it one day though.
Got them all. As far as the rail achievement, just before I set up the rail that I wanted i took 505 pieces of standard rail (5 extra just to be sure) and built a 1 wide path over the water at the edge of the map. Put all the rail down on it and my friend and I pushed each other back and forth for it. Dismantled it and set up the railway we wanted. Plus we didn't have to make all the powered rail.

Retired StaffIt has to be all the distance in one direction, so just build a huge track going one way and you should be good.
