Sadly, a large majority of immature players are the ones 15 & under. It's not a matter of squeakers (because let's be honest - nobody can control one's voice), but rather, a matter of constant whining, yelling, following you all around the map, getting angry when someone hits you/breaks a block, says the server and all its players suck when they don't strike diamond in less than 5 minutes, disregards the rules only to claim "oh I didn't know that" only a billion times, etc etc.
Needless to say, there are many, many older immature players because they are often disregarded when thinking that perhaps the won't be nuisance.

Funnily enough, it's the kids who go out of their way to assure people they are mature who, more often than not, are not. You might be mature from your own perspective, or in comparison to other people your own age, but from an adult perspective you're not. Pretty much no-one of that age is. I've lost count of the amount of pre-teens who have joined my server and assured me they are very mature, and then go and show the exact opposite by asking to be a mod/admin or just plain act childish and **** me off. The very act of asking for a staff position, something that is expressly against the rules, 10 minutes after joining the server just proves their immaturity. There is a reason why children are not allowed to do things that mature adults are allowed to do, like drinking, voting and driving a car.

Add to that; an 11 year olds pool of life experiences is going to be far shallower than let's day a 25 yr or. Or 40 yr old. That's not an insult. But a 25 yr old knows that acting a fool on a server is stupid, were a 10 or 11 yr old may think its badass. Now, please don't misinterpert what I'm saying ; age = maturity. God no. But the CHANCES of someone acting silly/ruining a game increase if the player is considerbly younger than the median age of a group of players.
Age discrimination is not cool, however I doubt id enjoy a game with a team comprosed of 12-17 year olds, besing in my later 30's. Id venture to say the 12-17 year olds would probably feel the same about me.

Sorry to suddenly jump in, but I just couldn't help agreeing 101% with that. I mean, the immature players do tend to be younger ones (not saying everyone, but the main culprits are quite obvious). It's hard to judge, because on their end, we're "too serious and not fun to play with" (I could care less what others think of my mentality, I play what I play). What they see as fun and entertaining might be viewed as disruptive and rather annoying on our end. At some point in age for most people, we all want to just lay back and enjoy a nice game of Minecraft without ever having to worry about some 13 year old coming in and threatening so many eminent disasters.
I guess this is why Minecraft appeals to everyone of all ages, but the players are not in unison w/ one another.

I play with ten different people on mcxe youngest one is 20. I'm the oldest at 33. I think your friend list is mostly 15. (not trying to be insulting)
