Ok, first... There is no argument here. You can take all that noise and put it somewhere I don't care to hear about. Don't care if you think it's only a figure of speech or if you actually think we're in a debate.... either way, stuff that.
You're basing your opinions on dismissing a version of the game that has the feature you're talking about since the current version doesn't? That makes no sense..... Circling back to the main point, disabling a game mechanic just for the 360 version that has no sensible reason to disable doesn't make much sense, either. I don't like helicopters in Battlefield 3 on the PC - do you think (somehow irrelevant to the PC version) we can remove helicopters from the game? Don't answer this - it's only an example and just as important as the hunger bar is to Minecraft as a mechanic.
When the hunger bar shows up on the 360 I'll do the same thing with it that I do with the PC version - ignore until weird noises and stupid twitching starts happening that requires to me to eat 5 loaves of bread from the 128 I'm carrying. Zzzz. It takes me more effort to log in to these forums than it does for me to deal with the hunger bar.

Alright, first off let me say this..... Don't really want the arguements here already if you just going to tell people to "take all that noise and put it somewhere I don't care to hear about." Please go to other forum pages I have said already, I want peoples opinions..... And if you didn't read the other comments before just writing down whatever you wanted then your shouldn't be mad at me.
Now, let me say this. Yes you are right, Hunger bar is a core game mechanic. Yes, I understand that while it is EXTREMELY! unlikely that it would be changed I wanted an opinion on if it did. I don't want an arguement about how they are NEVER! going to do it. These are people who like to shake things up once in a while..... Throw out a curve ball and see what people think.
Your saying that if someone has a problem with helicopters in BF3 they should be removed? no what I'm getting at is if everyone with the FMG9 Akimbo can go 50-2 in MW3 or if every guy with the Silenced Galil can go 40-0 in Black Ops that it should be patched. Look I'm not here complaining that the Grenades in Halo:Reach are overpowered..... If you removed them completely, that would be silly. BUT If they made game modes with less grenades, some people wouldn't mind it much. I'm saying make it an option, like which way the screen cuts in split-screen, or what buttons are mapped to what action.
So, just to make sure you understand this.
Would you use this feature if it was put in the game?
Would you try and get it removed?
Do you think that people could use this feature to better grasp the many different things that minecraft offers?
How do you think it would change the way you play the game?
Do you think that a toggle on/off button for the hunger bar is a bad idea?
Think of it as PC. The PC version has mods, and there is a mod out there to disable the hunger bar. People can download it because of personal preference. Since the 360 version probably won't have a way to install mods/texture packs, this would allow people to play the way they want (much like the PC version, where you can pretty much play the way you want)
(oh, and I just want to point out that the "Battlefield 3 helicopters" argument is silly, since you can chose servers that are Infantry only on PC. Irrelevant to the topic, but just felt the urge to point it out.)

But I'm already here. And I have read the responses you've gotten. I've also read the nonsense that was the old update with the hunger bar and all of the pages of people attempting to suggest the exact same thing you're suggesting. Again, go look - you can say the PC version is irrelevant, but that would be very silly.
There is no debate here - there is only one person starting an age old argument and asking the exact same questions that have already been asked (and often addressed) for quite some time.
I'm not angry with you. Don't get your feelings hurt because I told you to stuff your usage of the word debate.
Are you actually reading the responses you get?
Toggling the hunger bar just cripples a feature that doesn't necessarily make the game more difficult, but it does give you an additional duty you have to complete. It doesn't actually take anything away. Go make bread or any one of the easily farm-able food items and go eat it. I explained in simple words that BF3 was rhetoric - comparing it to clearly unbalanced items in other games doesn't validate, invalidate, argue, debate or otherwise make any relevant contribution.
Would I ever use a toggle option? Never. It's such a simple mechanic to deal with that it doesn't actually take anything away.
Do I care if you use it? Don't care. I think you'd be better off in Creative or on Peaceful if that's your dig, but that's your choice....
Would I want it removed? I wouldn't want it added because that's simply no longer Survival Multiplayer on Normal Difficulty.
Not having a hunger bar would break the existing mechanics, so that would drastically alter the way I play the game. I suppose never being able to heal without potions or, alternatively, constantly healing without food would make no difference to me. The old heart-restore system could make a come back and then I would proceed to leap down 20 block falls constantly since I'm just one click away from full health.
A toggle for the hunger bar is neither a good nor bad idea. It's a tired idea. A tired, boring, irrelevant thing. Go to the PC forums and attempt to make the Suggestion you made here. Make sure you have your fire-resistant suit on and good luck.
