If 4J studios said it could take up to 10 days to hit the XBLA last Tuesday July 3rd this means that if it was not out July 4th then it will have to be out next Wensday because all XBLA updates and releases are on WENSDAYS!!!

It was updated on Friday, but the meme was put there for the PC version a butt load of time ago. I'm not trying to sound like a deek, just a bit of info if you didn't know.
If you look on the Minecraft Wiki future Xbox 360 updates, it said that the upcoming update should be the 13th.

Why do people think this has to do with the Xbox Version?
The secret friday updates were updates to the PC version, The Xbox has these features, because Mojang added them in before 1.6.6
