Hey guys, this is a bit of a re post, but thought I would use the opportunity to move it into a more appropriate thread. The update is I have completed dev and am moving into test.

Hey guys,
Been bashing my head against this finding players problem for the 360 edition for a while now. Finally figured a workable solution. I have written an iPhone app (will do android if the concept proves itself out) and am just about ready to launch it. Essentially it let's you list your worlds and generally what times you play and the level of play. Also let's you describe in more detail what the intent of the world is. You can also add your location. From there you can list the server and people can perform searches on it. It has a following mechanism in it too like twitter. When you commence play in a world you flick it over to now playing and anyone who is following can see that the world is active. Usernames are Xbox live id so it facilitates friends requests. Can also do location based searches if performance is an issue. If you interested I will probably run a small beta and hand out a few redemption codes.
If you are interested got to http://servercircle.net and sign up. I will get hold of you when ready to launch.
I will grow it organically with features from there. Let me know.
Better still. I decided to make to free for a limited time. Reason I say limited time is if it blows out I need to cover my hosting costs. But anyone signed up at http://servercircle.net gets the heads up on the release.
Good to hear. One of the problems I am facing is how the heck do you seed the users so it becomes useful immediately. I am open to ideas on how to get the word out?
Well some update news. Submitted to the app store today. Now waiting for Apple to either approve or reject it. A little worried that it uses the term XBox in there.
Great New. We went live on Friday, and have had a phenomenal response. We have already had several hundred signups.
