I don't know if this has been talked about before or if this is even possible. I'm no expert with this, but I was wondering if anyone can answer my question. "Will the numbers of players be increased from 8 to whatever players available in a game?" I just to know, cause I been wondering and can't seem to find any sort of information. Feel free to post any links or forums that have a connection with this. Thank you

Nobody knows. 4J has never said anything about the games player limit increasing.

My guess is, probably not. They made it 8 for a reason. Most likely it's to maintain the frame rate.

I think 4JStu or 4JSteve said they were possibly looking into more players in future updates. But that's all we are going on right now.

Um, it has been discussed before... Just sayin. Oh and the XBOX version does NOT have 500 slots available only cause Split screen is an option.......

I imagine at some point the number of available slots will increase, but probably we get caught up with the PC version.

All I could say is I hope they make it possible to add more players

but i do know the slots for multiplayer will be increasing

right now it is 8
it will increase to 12 players , then 16 players then 24 players
and there is where it will stop at 24 players

You sound likes it's fact that they'll increase. Care to show us where you get these facts from?

You have to realize that most consoles don't have the capability to handle so many connections at once. My guess is that there will be an increase, but the next Hunger Game server will never be on the Xbox.

I remember reading some where the an xbox 360's max hosting capabilities are 36 players which is still a big jump now if 4j goes with the idea of rent-a-server that number might go up dramatically seeing as it would be a dedicated server.
