Hello everyone. I'm sort of a noob when it comes to this game, I never played on the PC, only just started when it was released on Xbox. I've been addicted since then. I have a couple questions for some of the more experienced players.
First, I noticed that the 1.7.3 Update (i think) will be hitting us soon. Will that change what happens when you enter a world seed? Also, when I looked up the 1.7.3 Update, this is what I found http://notch.tumblr.com/post/7376672311/minecraft-beta-1-7-3
Seeing as we do not have pistons yet, does this mean we will be getting pistons and skipping through other updates? It's just kinda confusing for me.
Also, I've got a ton of mob spawn cords for the seed "Glacier"
65,60,-51 has a Golden Apple in the chest.
51,29,-67 and 34,29,-70 are only about 15 blocks apart when you clear the stone between them, both are zombies.
I've got about 18 total, if you guys want a complete list let me know and I'll put them all out there.

1.7 and 1.73 are the same update for xbox, we will be skipping 1.7 but we will get all its stuff. Same for 1.9-1.2 They will skip 1.9 all the way to 1.2. But they will just make it one big update.

The reason they skip updates like that, is because Microsoft limits the amount of free updates for a game. It is only like 15. So 4J studios is trying to be cautious.
Also, we are in the beta version still. 1.9 is beta, but 1.2 is not.

Cool, that's what I was thinking. Rather than updating all the time, just lump all the smaller updates into 1. What I don't understand about it is, why don't we just start with the newest working version? What's the point of starting way back in beta versions when they have so much more finished now?

They started working on the minecraft xbox 360 edition back right b4 1.7 was released on the computer. So they couldnt start over. Otherwise this game would never come out. Because each time PC updated, they would start over. (Waste of time and Money)

This works for me, Ive never been a PC gamer. Always xbox and playstation so I would watch my brother and sister play minecraft on PC but never got into it until it came out on xbox. I cant stop playing it now lol. Does anyone know why xbox will only do so many updates for free and what will happen when those free ones run out? will we have to pay then?

Yes we will, but 4J studios will make sure the price is worth it. And they will probably add some stuff that would normally cost money along with the update.
We only have about 15 free updates. We've so far used 2. (2 for when the 1.73 update comes)
