A lot of my friends are complaining that in the last update pistons and or shears weren't added. For those who don't know this, here is some info about why that is. That was not update 1.7. That was update 1.63-1.6.9. Meaning that we do not have the update 1.7(.3) yet.
That was actually a bug fix that came EARLY. It was actually supposed to come after 1.7 along with 1.73. But they found some bug that ruined every thing so they did that first and are still working on tests. 4J studios have confirmed that the update 1.7(.3) will be released in early July. Which means from day 1 to day 12 or so.
Here are the changes coming in 1.7:
- Added pistons. (sticky and regular)
- Fixed clay generation. (Again! The clay didn't want to spawn last time!)
- Flint and Steel or redstone is now required to trigger TNT. (No more accidental punches/places )
- Fences can be stacked. (Already can be but this will make it so much simpler)
- Added Shears. (Used to gather wool from sheep or leaves from trees, etc)
- Redstone wire now will connect to a repeater.
- Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks.
- Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them
- Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched, only from being killed when they are unsheared.
- New textures for Cobblestone and Brick blocks.
There will be more with details but this was the most I could find on such short notice, but I did find more before I got the idea of posting this, Sorry. I will add that later.
Here are the changes coming in 1.73: (could be along with 1.7, probably since Microsoft limits amount of free updates)
- Corrected a block duplication bug when using pistons
- Corrected a redstone torch duplication bug when using pistons
- Corrected a client crash when placing a sign in front of the piston, powering the piston and then removing the block beneath the sign
- Ice blocks are now pushed without causing water streams breaking everything
- Booster rails are no longer being powered magically without a power source
- Pistons connected to the end of a piston-transistor via redstone are now properly closed when the power goes out
- Doors no longer create purple particles
- Hacking clients can no longer edit texts of placed signs in multiplayer (shouldn't be needed since it is hard to hack Xbox, no I did not try)
- Changed so that paintings pushed by pistons will pop off (No more floating paintings)
Yep. That was the change log that should come after the update. (post)

Not reading the forums isn't an excuse for posting repeats. Lol.
The changelog you posted looks like it came right off of the wiki, and was applicable to the PC version. This is not the PC version, so we don't know exactly what this update entails. Like, look at the bug fixes in that list. "Powered rails no longer magically powered by nothing"? That's not a bug in the Xbox version. "Pistons pushing ice..." We don't have pistons yet, so how do we get a bug fix for them? "Fixed clay generation" it's already fixed.
It may come with bug fixes for bugs that are exclusive to the Xbox version, and 4J has stated that they plan to try to bring features forward from later versions of the PC minecraft to updates sooner, so we may see more than just shears and pistons in this update.
So besides shears and pistons which we can safely assume to be in this update, we may be surprised by other features.

Yes, clay generation HAS been fixed. Start a new world on the seed "Quesadila" and have a look arond you without moving and tell me how much clay you don't see.
You also posted that fences can be stacked, which they can't. As it is right now, the only way to stack fences is to put a block on top of the fence, then put another fence on that.
And what's the point of including a 1.7 and a 1.7.3 hangelog if we're going directly to 1.7.3 equivalent from here?
So basically, your post was uninformative and largely wrong, this topic is a 1 amongst hundreds repeat, and it's pretty silly that you think "sorry if this is a repeat topic but I didn't bother to check" is a good reason.

There's no hate, I'm just explaining some facts to you. It's an objective fact that the information from the PC changelog bugfixes are wrong because most of those bugs don't apply to the Xbox version. It doesn't mean I hate you.
If you'd like another seed, try "fut yeah". I started this as a new survivor world a few days ago and found clay on the first beach I came to, and found buttloads of clay on the western edge of the world just now in fact.
How would I know this was a repeater if I joined almost 2 days ago. Which was technically a week or 2 ago but I was at camp so I can't check the forums.
All forums come equip with a search function. it's to the top right of the website, and you can even switch between topics, videos, posts within same topic.

When you post topics, you have to expect flack, and if you're going to give flack back (hence your 2nd post) that your'e going to be rude back, it shows you are easily provoked and easy to get to rage...and people on the internet will feed on that. On the maps I hear the noises I only play on peaceful.... Because of the hundreds of impressive (Not my own opinion but my friends) stuff I have. Like the cliff overhang map (Best Unknown seed) I have... The cliffs create shadows so it is always like night so easy is like hard... On my other maps I never hear the noises.

I for one am really hoping for the repeater fix because the fact that wires won't connect to repeaters has been messing up a lot of my pre piston set ups.
Clay is literally everywhere you just have to look in the right places. In your defense though I've also been hearing strange noises while playing peaceful. Honestly it sounds like a zombie or some other type of mob but I never actually find what's making the noise...it's weird.
Pistons will be fixed? Since we don't have pistons that's not really an update. That list is the list from 1.7.2 to 1.7.3. The reason they are saying they ported 1.7.3 is so people won't be worrying about the piston bugs we had in the early days of 1.7. Btw I am predicting the update will be this tuesday or possibly next
