So I'm playing a new survival map, and I entered the nether to get some glowstone for my underground farm.
And that went about as well as you might expect for a minecraft newbie. Immediately besieged by 4 Ghasts, I ended up running out of cobblestone prety quickly trying to put a shell up around the portal.
"**** this" I decided, heading back to the overworld. "I'll just get a few pieces on peaceful and come back to my survival game."
So, I had autosave off and didn't save in the nether, I actually left the nether no problem and saved my game once I was back in my cave.
But now I can't go into the nether, not on peaceful, not on normal, not ever. The game crashes right when the game goes to load the nether, and I have no idea what's up.
I even tried building another portal elsewhere, and no dice.
Any ideas?

Exact same problem I've been having. Tried today, though, and had no problems. Went in twice even. No idea.
