I'm wondering if anyone has made one for this version? I've tried youtube and have seen some, but nobody showed how it actually worked. Just wondering if anyone knows how to, or has any links. Thanks

And heres the mob drop point, with working chicken seperator and grinder. I want to seperate sheep so I can harvest their wool. They don't drop wool when killed by a lava blade.

Its for my passive mob spawner. Its built on top of my agressive mob spawner, and the collection room bor both are underneath water. I know it will be useless when the update hits, but i'm stocking up on porkchops and leather until it does. Cheers

The problem is sheep dont drop wool when killed by lava or drowning it seems (I tried a drowning trap already). Its not burning any loot as I get leather and porkchops just fine, and its the exact set-up I use in the mob grinder and that never burns anything as I have chests full of gunpowder.

Ohhh snap. Thanks Smiffy, I forgot you can turn string into wool. Now I have a use for the chests full of string. The mob grinder works amazingly well. And I didn't think passive mobs spawn on dirt. I have removed all the grass, and have random dirt patches without grass on them. I haven't noticed any animals spawning within draw distance. I'll have to look up the "rules" for passive mob spawning. I'm a minecraft noob, but am addicted. Cheers
