Hey guys,

I though I'd make a post in this forums about Minecraft updates for Xbox.

We all know that no one can say when the Update will come out so I ask you don't post that.

What I will ask is that you post information regarding what you think they will do with the update. These are my thoughts.

1. They will bring back the PC crafting Interface

2. The Version they are Updating to is 1.2.2.

3. I have the Texture pack that was stored in the game files (Thanks my unnamed source) and it was filed under 1.2.2. and it has everything it should have. Enderdragon, Enchantment, and other stuff like the old crafting interface along with Alchemy and the old inventory look (The one in PC with crafting) It also had Melons and all that good stuff.

That's what I have found out.

I can not prove what I have said is true but I beleive it and you might to. But i'm not saying it WILL Happen

to your three suggestions:
1. they will not change it to the PC crafting system ever. The whole reason the Xbox has a different crafting system is because it would be a major pain to stack items with a joystick.
2. the NEXT update is confirmed to be 1.7.3 then 1.8.2 and finally 1.2.3 so yes you will get your 1.2.2 eventually but not for a while.
3. Texture packs are 100% not coming with the July update to 1.7.3 skins are. maybe by the time the game is 1.2.3 they will though.

Um isn't current version 1.2.5 on PC? Not 1.2.3 and besides, This is what I think I have stated "I can not prove what I have said is true but I believe it and you might to. But i'm not saying it WILL Happen"

And it's not hard to stack with a Joystick at all :S

The update schedule posted is the one 4J released via twitter. 1.6.6 - 1.7.3 - 1.8.2 - 1.2.2

The PC version will likely always be ahead.

I wish they would put PC crafting. I'd love to see all of my Minecraft n00b friends strugle in making a pickaxe.
I think they should add server commands like tp, and warp home.

Why is it as the update comes closer more and more people are coming out of the wood work with BS. Then when you tell them the facts, they insist that you are wrong.

Why would you want to do it the old way? Doesn't the new way make it so much easier. I've never played PC, but I've watched a lot of videos and it looks tedious to craft stuff.

As the poster stated, they want the game to be a struggle for their friends so they can feel like a superior veteran. This poster reminds me of a Guy who is no longer on my friends list because of that sort of immaturity. No offense.
