Monsters not burning up

Hello i got minecraft for the xbox recently and i like it but there is one question i have......why dont monsters burn up during the day like on the pc is it a bug or is it just a version that allows creepers and spiders to stay unharmed?

Only skeletons and zombies burn if in sunlight. Creepers and spiders NEVER have been or probably ever will be harmed by daylight

Ah ok weird i thought creepers and spiders still burned up.....oh well thanks for the info

I hate working during the day trying to re-build a house after a creeper blows it up and then when you almost have it put back together they attack and do it again (During the day)

Also: Spiders are friendly during the day (unless provoked) unless they were already attacking you. Monsters don't burn up if their in water.

if you hadn't hit them and run into the sunlight, they will stop chasing you also.
