So yeah, I went out of my house in the morning to get wood (yes I closed my door on the way out!) When I came back to my house, there were about 10 zombies roaming inside my house. This was during the day too! This isn't the first time this has happened, there have been numerous times when I was just using the crafting table or furnace in my house and a monster just randomly spawns behind me and attacks me. Not only that, I can't sleep at night either. There is always a monster that wakes me up (skeleton, zombie, spider, skeleton riding a spider,etc.). My house is COMPLETELY lit up, inside and out. The floors, walls, and ceiling are COMPLETELY covered with torches. The outside too. ALL of the entrances to my house are completely covered (my house is made of wood btw). Also, my bed is two blocks away from the wall, that doesn't work. Can someone please help me? I'm new to minecraft and I'm just not having fun with all these problems going on.
If you haven't got to far into building your house try moving it. you should try digging up the floor, you may have built your house right ontop of a monster spawner (it will look like a spinning pig in a cage).
If moving your house doesn't work then I don't know what to do, probably have to start a new world.
I've had similar problems with Zombies and Skeletons spawning inside my well lit house during the day, and especially when I try to sleep. The most infuriating thing is my bed is in the middle of the house, nowhere near any of the walls and it is surrounded by torches. I've checked for monster spawners and everything else, but nothing shows up.
i have a problem with mobs spawning in my house while i sleep too. it doesn't happen every time though. i'll sleep, beat the **** out of the zombie, go back to sleep and sleep until morning. my bed isn't near walls and i close my doors as well...
I don't understand how so many people are having issues... I haven't had a single problem since I started moving my bed away from the walls. Are you not sleeping in enclosed areas or something?
I noticed when I was working on leveling a mountain yesterday that a creeper had spawned in my well lit wolf kennel. I was not happy about that to say the least. Thankfully no wolfs got blown up or at least I dont think any did.

Hmm..yes I built my house right on top of a dungeon. So I just have to find the monster spawner and destroy it? Also, my friend told me that when you destroy a monster spawner it comes back after a while. Is this true? Idk if he's lying or not.
Alright, then the only thing I can tell you is to delete the world and make a new one. If you have another world where this has happened, then it's only that world you should delete. If you don't have any other worlds, then I would delete all the Minecraft stuff off your XBOX and re-download the game.
This happened to me a while ago when I had first got the game. I had double doors, but didn't know about the double door glitch so instead I deleted all the Minecraft stuff off of my XBOX. When I re-downloaded it, I never had a problem with them.
It's tough to tell where the problem is that is causing this glitch, but I think somewhere down the line it's a coding mess-up and the only way to fix it is to either create a new world or delete your minecraft stuff and re-download. I'd try first by just creating a new world.

I have absolutely no double doors anywhere.
