I have no problem with restarting the world over as long as it gets bigger the adventure update needs to hurry up. I can't believe this game wasn't plotted out a little more before it came out for Xbox so we would had a bunch of of nerds defending 4j about it has to be convert from Java to c± this shouldnt of been a topic.
They got their money out if me but I didn't get my money out of them I was in the hundreds on the leaderboards and got reset. Besides that I find me self get immediately bored right away because of the same thing over and over nothing new. I don't think pistons a shears are enough to keep me going

The game has been plotted out. That's why their updates are going to go 1.7.3, 1.8.2, and then 1.2.3. 4J has come out and said that they've had trouble trying to get C++/C# to do some of the same things Java does.
You could do what I am doing. I am exploring seeds. I create a seed and explore it. If it seems nice or crazy(like gargamel) I write down the seed name.
As others have said explore and learn by doing. Yea I do get bored at times, but it's fun running around exploring to see what the seed looks like.
I have one seed that I have seen several places that have clay on this one seed there were 3 place where I saw around 10 clay blocks. Not sure if there were more or not
Just play other games and come back to this one. It's all I do when I get bored.
