I have a blue wool room and every night i get woken up by a new friend!! I have tried moving my bed in every corner and wall/spot. I even tried to put some book case's on each side And guess What...I get woken up!
Here's the messed up part..I have got it to where it will wake me up WITHOUT EVER taking damage..The zombi or skeleton will just stand in the corner because of how i got my bed...! I never got hit so why bother waking up..,I'm tired!!
They need to fix this real bad...Got worse for me after bug fix came out!!
B.T.W. I do not want to give up my blue sexy room to these mob's,lol
dig around under your house and around the area and light up all caves you find within a ~50 block radius. Also, if the offending mobs always spawn on the same spot, if you can pull this off without ruining the aesthetics, try putting glass down on that spot. Mobs can't spawn on glass.
If your house is 2 blocks off the ground you will never get mobs spawning on you, also if you have double doors this is a known issue & should be fixed in the next update (hopefully)
Its the bed up against the wall... Ever since I set up my houses to be 6x5 with the bed in the middle not touching any walls I HAVE YET to get woken up again. Well, there was one time, but thats because my friend forgot to close the door on my large house...
Also, this does not seem to be an issue when there are things next to said wall your bed is bordering (Like another wall of blocks). I haven't tested this, but its worked the few times I have done it.
Last, my main house has a double bed thats on wool. I never have problems... Just move the stinking thing away from the walls...
The obvious checklist to go down is:
1. Is room bright enough
2. Is bed not against a wall.
3. Is outside lit up well enough. (Could be a possibile cause as well I'm not sure atm.)
4. Single Door > Double Doors
5. Are you in a big open room?
Me and a friend made a biiiig open room once, the problem with it was mobs continued to spawn while we slept, so we went over many solutions, adding an unnecessary amount of light, moving our beds hither and thither. Finally we decided we'll wall up each bed into a room and once we did that no more mobs spawned on us. So I think if you're in a reallly big room that could be the cause of it as well.
ok give up, send me the Xbox it is haunted I will have budda blessed then keeping it so it never happens agan. Send your to the vatican, your save is possessed by a Poltergeist have them perform an exorcism and delete file.
Problem solved
See how simple that was.
Or you can place torches all over the place and your problem should go away and I will be sad never to add your extra xbox to my collection.

Why? All of my beds are up against walls. And not all have this problem. I don't like that solution. It's gotta be something else causing it.

Google, I think its a search thingy or something.
I have gotten it to where i get woke up..Think its day and looked around and there's a zombie suck in a corner, lol Never got hit though!
Must be the sexy blue floor
Hope it's fixed before endermen come in or I'm screwed, lol That would be lame, trying to sleep and a enderman steals my bed ,lol
