Everyone can always appreciate a good minigame so I've decided to try to come up with one to play with some friends and I thought I'd call it "Diamond Dash". I think I seen something similar to this but I forget where I found it...Anyways the basic idea would be to have 2 teams (Red/Blue) and give them each their own lane at the end of which would be a chest filled with diamonds.
The object of the game would be to have each team of 2 run to their chest and take a DIamond then run back to the start and place it in their empty chest. However along the path their would be lots of obstacles such as Lava Pits, Soul Sand, Burning Netherrack, Barricades, Pitfalls, Cacti, etc... Also there will be another team of 4 on top of the other side. Their job will be to try and shoot the oncoming diamond theives using bows.
The rules would be quite simple too. Each player would only be allowed to take one Diamond at a time and whichever team fills their chest with single DIamonds first wins....
I don't know how overpowered the bows would be though and I'm still debating whether I should just combine both lanes and allow attacking between both teams. I guess I'm worried that either the rate of fire from the bows will make this game almost impossible or people will just be too distracted with killing each other to actually go for the objective. What do you guys think? Any feedback would be appreciated.
It's lunchtime in NoxCrew gameshow. At least thats where I saw it.
Hmmmm I'ver never heard of the NoxCrew gameshow but maybe I seen a spinoff of it or something. Anyways were the games exactly the same and did it work out with the bows rate of fire? I think I might need to wait until they nerf the bow and make you charge your shots.
Well they were given bows and they could also use traps but that would be hard in the Xbox version because we don't have pistons.
Yeah I was thinking about doing piston traps like pitfalls that open automatically every few seconds or so but I don't know if that's possible. I suppose I'll have to experiment when we get them within the next couple weeks.
Oh and by the way are there any videos of people playing this game by chance? I'm curious as to how close it is to my idea and what their maps looked like.
