Hello, I am new here, but not new to forums, I have been on 343 Industries Community Forum for awhile, thats when I started playing Minecraft
Anyways, I have this really nice house, but the roof is so high up, if a sheep falls, it will die. There are currently four sheeps up there, and my main problem is wondering how they got up there in the first place. Did they spawn? The only way to get up there is with a ladder, and they can't climb. Anyone know what is going on? I also had a skeleton somehow in my home when looking for Slimes. I don't know how they all are getting in these dumb spots. Any help would be appreciated
Well the grass roof is the culprit of the sheep mystery.
And the reason a skeleton spawned is because of there isn't enough light in your house. Be it's lit up well or a creeper could spawn in there.

Thanks, I am not getting rid of my grass roof though and I will be sure to add more torches or glowstone

Actually, I do have grass up there. May that be why? I also have my floor as grass, no sheep has spawned in there, only one skeleton.
