Had this one before I even knew slimes existed, I decided to create a huge underground building, starting with this, next thing I knew slimes were there. That was back in may... Lol,

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
I drown all my slims on hard and I don't seem to get credit for it if you kill them with a sword then you wont get slime..
I have two slime spawn-er and more slime then I will ever use how will I get Xp from this in the future if I dont get credit for killing them when I drown them

You wont get any credit for them drowning, you have to physically kill them.
I did not understand both the slime chunk finder and the coordinates on the slime chunk finder
I cant explain it to you cause I would just be writing what I wrote on my first post (the image) i wouldve thought that was enough info to help anyone. I dont have live atm so I cant come to your world and help you either, sorry.
I followed the guide and cleared out 3 chunks, lit them well, waited 15mins on easy, no slimes. Any ideas? Also, animals have stopped spawning in my world the last 5 times ive been on....

have you lit the outside aswell? this includes caves, dark areas on the surface and eliminating other mobs. for the animals, do you have wolves tamed?
I did not understand both the slime chunk finder and the coordinates on the slime chunk finder
After you type your seed number into the slime chunk finder it's going to show you a map with lots of green squares. Hover your mouse over one of the squares and it's going to give you two sets of coordinates.
The coordinates are the X and Z coordinates on your map.
First off make sure you are down to bedrock (or close to it).
Now imagine a square. The first set of coordinates would be one of the corners. The second set of coordinates is the corner on the opposite side of the square.
Say the coordinates the slime chunk finder gives you are 96, 110. Those will be the coordinates of the first corner. The first number is your X coordinate. So on your map get to block 96. The second number is your Z coordinate. So go to block 110 on your map. Now your map most likely will say X, 96 Y, 4 Z, 110.
The second set of coordinates would then be 112, 126. Those are the coordinates of the second corner. Do the same thing you did above to find the second corner.
You then need to mine out a 16 x 16 square using those coordinates as the opposite corners of the square.
I hope this helps somewhat.

My success story. I know it's not very elaborate, I just wanted to share that I used the advice on the first page and these are my results.

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yes, I have around 15 wolves (This is Xbox, so idk if that matters). The slime chunk i found is well lit, but nothing is spawning in it after 15mins. Monsters still spawn at night, even found my first spider jockey as i went to check on my slime chunk, but when my brother and I decided to bake some cakes on peaceful before we go back, we needed milk. As we searched for cows for 30 mins, we realized there werent even chickens wandering around. I reloaded and still no animals. Do i need to kill off my wolves? I need sticky pistons so i can build more complex stuff, currently i just have a arrow shooter that i made
I wish I had found this guide before I started working on my slime farm Didn't know about the slime chunks and cleared out a massive area (about 100x100). Had a few slime's spawn but not many.
Now done it again using the slimefinder website (was a nightmare as the closest spot with more than one chuck was in the middle of the ocean and had massive pools of lava at bedrock level..).
I have a few questions that I need some clarification on, please can someone correct any of the below if I'm wrong?
Spawning distance:
The sweet spot for spawning distance is between 24m and 32m.
Outside of 32m (but less than 60) they "might" despawn and wont move around but will they still spawn?
Ladder climbing:
I understand that the small slimes can climb ladders? I think the limit was 15 high, is that correct?
2 Blocks high or 3?
If I'm building a multiple level grinder should I build it 2 blocks high or 3? I have seen some people say that large slimes will spawn in 2 blocks high and immediately take damage and split to medium slimes. is this correct? Obviously if I can only make it 2 high it its better as I can get an extra level in (I think).
They spawn between lvl 0-20 or lvl 0-16?
Also does that mean if the floor is on level 20 (or 16) they will spawn or does it have to be on level 19 so the slimes can spawn on level 20?
The reason for these questions is that I have built a building above where the slime chunks are and wanted to automate it so that they can climb up to the surface where you kill them. However as its around 50m above bedrock I'm not sure that will work and I will need to extend the building down a bit more to make the floor 24 levels above the top floor of the mob grinder.
I would prefer to avoid this if I can due to the fact its in the middle of the ocean and there is loads of lava underground as well so building down is a pita
Thanks for any info anyone can share on these questions and thanks again to the OP for the great guide.
Let me see if I can help somewhat...
Like other Hostile mobs, Slimes will spawn outside of 24 meters (spherically). Outside of 32 meters, slimes don't move and can despawn randomly. Outside of 128 meters, they despawn instantly. Ideally, you'll want to stay within 25-32 meters for them to go about their normal business.
Like other Hostile mobs, Slimes can climb ladders. The exact distance seems to be a mystery. I've seen slimes climb as high as 25 meters, but not consistently. I've found I can get away with 20 meters and not have a problem in my testing, but I haven't tested this on Xbox as of yet.
Big Slimes require 3x3x3, medium 3x3x2, and small 1x1x2. All of them are much more likely to spawn in a 3m high room. Like other Hostile mobs, they must have 2m high non-opaque blocks (air, signs, torches, etc.) and an opaque block (dirt, stone, cobble, etc.) underneath it.
As of right now, they spawn from layer 0-16 and eventually from 0-40. Since bedrock is at layers 1-2 on Xbox, you have only 14 usable areas for them to spawn in. If your floor is at 16, they will not spawn above it. However, if your floor is at 15, they will.
If you are looking to transport your slimes, be sure to create endless water streams (no dead spots) that go directly to ladders. When moving from one ladder location to another, be sure to have running water over the top of the ladder to keep them moving in the desired direction for best results.

your 15 wolves are the problem to your animals disappearing. in one of my worlds i have 21 dogs and all the animals vanished also due to the passive mob cap. I'd say kill 14 of your dogs and if monsters are spawning at night, light up the ground and the caves too, it will drastically increase slime spawning. you might want to make a waiting room just about 25 blocks away from the slime room.
Hope this helps.
Here is my Slime Farm (I'm in the process of gathering glowstone dust to replace the torches with in-ground glowstone)
From the corner where I am standing, my waiting room is 25 blocks "behind" the Point-of-View. Now, my Farm is ~18 x 66, meaning I am 91 blocks away from the far end of the farm when I am in the waiting room. Do I need to move my waiting room?
Since my farm is 3 chunks "long" and 1 chunk "wide", I'm thinking I need to move it to 25 blocks away from the center chunk, instead of having it 25 away from the "end" chunk. I'm hoping this will increase the spawn rate and keep them from despawning.
Make sense? I do get some slimes, but not as many as a 3-chunk farm should get. (I did use the finder and all 3 are slime chunks.)

yes, you should make a waiting area right through the middle of the wall
if you wait at the end of your farm, it will just disable the 2 closest chunks near you

View from outside/front.
Slime.
Inside view, probably too many glowstones on the floor.
View toward the front showing one of the channels and a grinder that drowns large slimes into tiny ones that can then make the trip up the ladders.
Slime spawner shut off.
