I'd like to add, once you get you slime spawning farm built and are ready to start moving small slimes to a grinder using water channels and ladders, stay away from building with glass. It works, but the slimes sometime seem to glitch through the glass.
How do you get so many?! Would you be willing to help me out on my farm? I have increased the size of the room and I do notice more spawning but still not as many as I would have thought I almost completed a full stack of slimeballs. Would really appreciate the help I can do all the work I just need a few "poiners" and I think it would be "best" if you took a look at my mine, please!
You could make multiple floors?
Make sure that all the caves in the surrounding areas are let. (i went mad with this)
Guys remember once you finished clearing out your slime chunk, you're not done yet. You still have to light up caves, dark areas, and if you do have a monster/ mob trap, turn that off (light it up). Hey Fayzed, seems like you got a lot on your hands, haha.

As far as the lights go, my tunnels look like a Disco on crack, lol
I'm having some trouble understanding how to use the cords on the slime finder app. Do I have to enter the cords for the center of my map? When I do, the app resets it back to 16 16. My map seed Is: -7545375294136767538 . I also noticed there is a - in front of my map's seed number. I was confused as to whether I need to enter that as well?

Yes you need the - and for the coordinates what was the points you entered? Remember, they are not the middle, they are the corners of the chunk.

I went to the center of my map in game , and listed those cords in the second set of boxes on the slime app. When I hit enter however, it reset the cords I had entered to 16 16.
I think my problem Is I dont quite clearly understand how to find the cords on the app.
The slime finder will round the points to the nearest 16th because slime chunks are within a 16x16 area. (ex:16, 32, 48, 64, so on) SO your center is (0,0)? I checked and there are no slime chunks near it.

I think I'm doing It wrong. So I enter my seed -7545375294136767538 . Then I went to the center of my map (Do I even need to go the center of my map and enter the cords?) Which I then entered the cords. I don't remember what the exact cords where, but when I chose "Go there",it reset my center cords to 16 16. It also told me a good chunk was 96.16 which I went to that exact point with X being 96 , and Z being 16 . (Not sure that is the correct method) Thanks for your help , I appreciate it.

You can choose ANY place in your map. Say you wanted to check if you had a slime chunk near your house, you would enter the coordinates closest to your house. Then you check for chunks using the app. When it says, for example, (0,0) to (16,16) that means (0,0) is corner 1. You would dig from (0,0) all the way to the other corner (16,16)

Ok, I think I understand now thanks! Also, I noticed the X cords near my current position are -289, so I definitely want to enter the - correct? Sorry for the confusion I'm new to the layout of the MC map, wasn't sure If negative - cords exist.

Yes the - is negative, you enter that in there. and NP!
Quick update. I found a good chunk at -96.16 to -80.32 . So I find -96.16 and dig straight down to bedrock. I then dig a straight line to -80.16 because -80.32 Is diagonal from the original point -96.16 . From -80.16 I dig a straight line to -80.32, and finally from there back to the original point forming a square. Am I doing it correctly now?

Do those slime finder apps, specifically http://extension.ws/...aft/slimes.html, work for xbox? It seems like the same seeds don't generate the same worlds on PC and Xbox. Does it work??

Retired StaffYou could make multiple floors?

You can place torches on the floor, but that leaves a spot where slimes cant spawn.
I had not thought about the multiple floors thing, that should be my next step! thanks again for all the help!
