My fireplace is not working and I'm wondering if it's because wood doesn't burn forever inside the pit? The problem is the wood burns out if that wasn't clear by my first sentence.
I saw an old tutorial by paulsoaresjr but Im pretty sure it was an old build, much older than 1.6.6. Does anyone know if they made wood not burn indefinitely in a firepit at some point?
I know I can use netherack to fix the problem but I haven't gone to the nether in this particular world yet so I was trying to make the pit work a different way. My fireplace is built up of brick and a few stone half slabs.
Yes, it is because wood isn't an "Infinite" fire source.
I'd suggest fueling it with wooden planks if you absolutely NEED a working fireplace OR waiting for the nether to get netherrack.
Yeah, I knew wood wasn't an infinite fire source in general but after watching that old tutorial by paulsoaresjr I thought maybe that the wood set up in a fireplace made it infinite in some way.
