I've been reading around and it sounds like there is going to be an update to the Minecraft 360 game in July. I was curious if anyone could confirm this and maybe provide information on predicted additions (i.e. sticky pistons, enchanting tables, etc.) as well as projected date of release and costs if any if the update will be a DLC for the game.

All updates are free. 1.7.3 is planned for early July, just not confirmed
DLC such as skins and possibly texture packs down the road you will have to pay for.

Adding on to this, 1.7.3 will include bug fixes and:
+ Added pistons
+ Fire or redstone is now required to trigger TNT
+ Fences can be stacked
+ Added shears
+ Shears can be used to pick up leaf blocks
+ Shears can be used to shear sheep without hurting them
* Sheep no longer drop wool from being punched
they can be stacked but you have to put a block under the fence then remove it and put a fence in its place to stack it
after the update you can just stack it like you would stack anything else
I guess we will get several free updates but after that Microsoft WILL start charging for updates.
We dont know when, but it will happen as mojang did a deal with them for x amount of free upgrades.
how many 'x' is? your guess is as good as mine. 2,3,6,10?
(My personal guess is 4)
Where did you get this information? A link would be nice, I'm curious to see.
alright, thanks for the info guys. I'd probably guess four to six myself as well. personally, the upgrades may well be worth the cost provided they keep it reasonable (80 points to a maximum of 400 points)

This as well, and yes, the cobblestone too.
