Yes, you heared right texture packs are comming to mcxbla after 1.8, it is still unknown what kind of or which texture pack it is, answer the poll
you can see 4j saying this theirselves https://twitter.com/...368925699186688
That tweet doesn't confirm or dismiss texture packs just yet. They said they're "looking" into them which means it's probably still being tossed around in discussions. Regardless I'd like to see Dokucraft implemeneted into the game but I also believe 4J could make better packs themselves. Not to mention it would make more sense since they wouldn't have to compensate the original creator.

they are looking for what kind of texture pack should came thats why i opened this. btw, like my new enderwarlock?
Texture could be set up similarly as with Total Miner.
Except for the fact that textures in Total Miner are free and I firmly believe the customer should have to pay for extra content. If we show our support by buying these packs it will keep 4J interested in maintaining the game a little longer due to it's potential profitability.
Great, just what we need - useless graphics that will take up even more RAM and thus make it even more unlikely that the small xbox worlds will ever increase in size.
Meh. When I go to youtube to watch minecraft videos and someone is using a texture pack, it makes it difficult to tell what's going on since nothing looks "normal". I have no need for spending extra money on what is essentially a useless thing.

Textures offer the game replayability and make most of your creations look significantly better...What's not to love?
