I think it would be a great idea to add a share feature where players can upload their created worlds to a server for others to download and rate in-game. This has been done in several games I have played such as the EA Skate trilogy where players can download and rate other peoples created skateparks.
This would be a great feature for the Xbox 360 community to be able to get their created worlds recognized. It can be categorized by "Highest Rated" and "Most Downloaded". This would be perfect since you cant save other worlds u join online.
Also maybe another section where players can post seeds they discover with about 3 screenshots, where players can rate the seed and share awesome seeds.
The leaderboards is something every game has but it's nothing that brings me back to playing nor is it something most players care about. Minecraft is a community where people share their creations and use mods to expand their experience (PC Only, I understand this is not allowed on Xbox). Which is fine, but to atleast have the ability to share worlds and seeds would be a spectacular improvement.
Please consider this 4J Studios I'm sure the Minecraft community for the Xbox would love this.
I think this is a feature on the PC version (I know there are a lot of YouTube videos that have links to download the maps featured in the video, for example).

I would LOVE to be able to do this too.
It's not a feature on the PC. People on the PC just aren't restricted by a User Agreement to not share files. They are free to trade, download, and keep other peopels files. On the Xbox, that is against the rules.
Also, this idea has been posted dozens of times. I'm sure 4J knows people want it by now. However, it's not up to them to put it in. It's probably up to Microsoft whether something like that is allowed or not.
Yea but its been done in other games already on the Xbox so its not against the rules. The only thing that is against Microsoft's terms is modding which is required if you want to download someone elses game save and change its info to make it think it was saved from your console.
If 4J adds this feature in their game, which is NOT against the rules... it would be possible to do this without any tampering without having to break any of Microsoft's terms.
Halo 3 (an Xbox/Microsoft exclusive) has a File Share system where users can download player created content (maps, etc). I really don't see why Microsoft wouldn't let Minecraft do the same (the ability to share maps).
