I personally like the XBOX system for it's ease of access to beginners, and the fact that it requires no memorization. It also has a great interface, with no clicking or dragging.
Obviously Xbox is better for ease of use but the PC system is better for a more challenging experience.
I would really love to see an advanced crafting setting where Xbox users can use the PC style system for a greater challenge. There is something to be said about the fulfilling experience of having the knowledge/memory to create and discover things on your own without being hand held.
I like the PC version only because you can create exactly 1 Stack at a time instead of holding down A and hoping you don't go over lol (the only time this is a problem is torches... but then again who can't use extra torches )
Xbox I see my son looking things up all the the time I am not goint to play xbox and look things up an a pc just to play my game I want to have fun building
Playing the PC version for the first time pretty much means you are going to need to pull up a wiki to find out how everything is made to even get anywhere, a which point the system becomes pointless. If you know how to make the blocks what's the point of having to stack them in an order to get the item you want to makes.
Maybe if someone actually was doing it without the wiki it would be good for the mystery, but, I doubt there are a lot of people doing that.
Basically the Xbox system means that I can play with friends without them having to open up the wiki on there computer.
PC version is far far better than the 'spoon-fed' Xbox version. (and yes, I own both versions)
So I take it you never look at the wiki? If you do you're a hypocrite since you are spoon feeding yourself information. but hey if you like spending the extra 60 seconds lining up each little stick whenever you want to make a bunch of ladders go right ahead.

The computer crafting is a lot better. Have you ever felt the exitement of dragging the diamonds and sticks for a diamond pickaxe? Where as the Xbox you click a button and it does it for you. :l In my opinoin, comouter is better.

Don't craft cakes. You'll step on a hidden pressure plate and blow up. The Cake Is A Lie.

Personally, the dragging and clicking for me is a bother sometimes. It is nice to see someone gets enjoyment out of their first diamond pick axe though. I never had a problem with the system at all until the xbox version came out.
I like the xbox version better because now I don't need an app to take space on my ipod just so I know what I'm making next. It is like the wikipedia is already popped into the xbox. Plus, if they used the original system, dragging and dropping things with the controller constantly would probably make me stop playing.

at least these two have valid points to offer.
Agree, and this should be everyones answer.
