I have a 14x11x4 (pretty sure those are the dimensions) hole that I want to add water into to make a swimming pool. But whenever I dump water in there I end up getting alternating currents that push my character all over the place. Is there any way to add water in there easily and its also stagnant?
Put a layer of dirt or something one below where you want the water to be and then place water everywhere in there until its all still and then break the dirt.
Lol, I'd imagine everything else getting flooded as well.
And similar to what the previous posters' suggestions said, if the water won't stay still, just place dirt or any other blocks under it, as it should fix it (instead of removing all of the water and adding the layer then).
